FORTUNA

This sandwich shop was the highlight of my first trip to Seattle. Absolutely incredible maybe not so hidden gem. I know my food picture wasn't ideal, but I promise this sandwich delivered (Bottega). Also the icing on the cake were the 2 sauces that are an absolute MUST in my opinion. Get the black garlic balsamic and sun dried tomato chili relish. We practically drowned these sandwiches with this. Staff was amazing, experience was the same! I can't wait to come back!

Weird hours, but there’s a line out the door so you know it’s good! I got the fortuna sandwich with a beer and it was delicious! The seating is kind of communal because it’s just really long tables. They play cool music and sometimes show movies too. Every sandwich is on focaccia bread.

Line out the door before they even opened, and bread samples at the register while you wait—always a good sign. The Bottega had a nice salty, spicy kick, while the Fortuna was rich and creamy with a beautiful olive-forward texture. Both were delicious, balanced, and packed with flavor without being overwhelming. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, so ordering ahead and picking up at the window is a great option. There’s a small seating area out front off the sidewalk, plus a covered patio in the back if you want to stay and enjoy your meal. Absolutely worth the hype. Now I’m just hoping they open a location on the Eastside soon.
