Gorditos Healthy Mexican

Gorditos is delicious quality healthy mexican food. No frills, old building but who cares...this is the home of the baby size burrito! My recommendation is the Grande Chicken Wet Medium. It's anywhere from 2 to 4 meals. They have an incredible fresh salsa bar with delicious family recipes. My husband and I drive 40 miles to go get burritos from there. Or anytime we are visiting Seattle we always stop there.

So, I drove all the way from North Boeing Field (30 min drive avg.) to get their "Baby Burrito" to only find out that they don't have a phone to call in orders for pick up. Secondly, although it didn't take long to get my order, a wet burrito, there wasn't any station to grab additional sauces. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for additional sauce, because of timing, but there was not station to get some. Also, when I got my food, they didn't provide plastic utensils for a To Go order. It's sad to say that for a $25 burrito, it lacked in taste and the service was so so. I think I'll only come here if I'm in the area.

Gorditos is one of my long time favorite places in Seattle! My wife and I had our first date there. I love the food, especially the extra special breakfast burrito - oh, my goodness, it’s so egg-ceptional you can enjoy it for dinner … and I do. Get the extra large version and you’re literally hooked up for two great meals - now and later! Thank you Gorditos for 25 years of great memories - every time I’m there I’m hit with a nostalgia for how great Seattle used to be.
