Ableist bullies. As long as you comply they won’t verbally abuse you. Really sweet then! This is specifically in response to Meg. I’m sure folks will say, “Meg?! No way!” But she was one of the rudest hair stylists I’ve had the misfortune of seeing. Also based on recommendation from a friend. Not sure if it’s because I’m a POC but it’s likely not that. You wonder why someone treats you differently and rudely, though.

Can't sing enough praises about Bethany! I followed her to Phinney Ridge from her days at Beehive Salon despite living on the Eastside. Every haircut I have gotten from her has been incredible and so precisely and artfully done. It is evident that Bethany truly cares about making you feel confident in your new hair. She is so pleasant to talk to and has educated me on haircare, DIY bang trims, and hair styling while I'm in the chair. Most recently I visited Bethany to fix a bad haircut (I'd foolishly tried out a salon in Bellevue with a more convenient commute.) She fixed my choppy and uneven layers while preserving the length and made it look amazing! You would never be able to tell there had been a bad haircut beneath it all. I learned my lesson and will be seeing Bethany exclusively for a reliable and beautiful haircut every time.

Absolutely love Kate and Bodhi Salon! The salon is super stylish and modern, comfortable (those shampoo chairs are wow), warm and inviting. Kate is a hair color magician (she took me from years of red hair to blue and purple in ONE appointment, and somehow made me look both edgy and adult), and delivers an excellent experience every time. There’s plenty of neighborhood parking around which is a nice bonus. You absolutely can trust these ladies to make you look and feel incredible. 10/10!
