Gorgeous George's

Initially I was not amused because they don’t offer dine-ins, and the overall vibe is low key but cute. However, I am blown away by two things: First, the favor is on point. Each kebab I had in the combo plater are perfectly marinated, favored, and grilled to perfection. Each meat was well-done, but still juicy instead of dry. The garlic and yogurt sauce are great as well. Second, the portion is HUGE. I estimate there is at least 1 pound meat in the plater, which indeed enough for one and half to two meals. Most restaurants either have huge portion but mid favor or vice versa, but this is a rare combination of both. I am impressed and would love to visit again.

Rula and George are amazing and they have the most adorable and kind kids! Their whole family’s warmth and hospitality are immediately apparent as soon as you walk in - my experience felt more like visiting an old friend’s home and catching up over dinner than going to grab a meal at a restaurant. Now to get to the food - it is by far the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in Washington. George told me he spends 7 am - 4 pm daily preparing all of his food fresh, and you can really taste the years of experience and care that he puts into his food. Every single dish had generous portions and was fresh, unique and delicious!

Gorgeous George's catered our son's graduation party and the food was incredible. George prepared so many beautiful dishes. Our guests loved the food and everyone asked where we got it. It was packaged hot and prepared perfectly when we arrived to pick it up. George always goes above and beyond to be sure that there is enough food and that it is of the highest quality and presentation. It was fantastic and I highly recommend using George's to cater your events or just to order a wonderful dinner for your family. Thank you, George!!
