★ 4.8This indie bookstore is such a local treasure. New and used books, a cafe, a children’s reading nook and endless little surprises and treasures to discover. We’ve enjoyed going to open mic night a few times and marveling at the array of local talent. I love coming here on a day off and perusing the shelves to see what sparks my imagination. They also have great greeting cards and stickers!
What a great little neighborhood bookstore! I love finding places with this much personality. The book selection is well organized and full of unique finds, and the whole space has a calm, inviting vibe that makes you want to stick around. I grabbed a drink from the café and spent some time browsing, and it was the perfect way to spend part of my day. Everyone I interacted with was kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt relaxed without being overly quiet or stuffy. If you enjoy supporting independent bookstores, this is definitely one to check out. It's the kind of place you'll want to come back to whenever you're in the area.
I visit Seattle quite often, this place is always top of my list to visit. They are so incredibly welcoming, kind and professional. If you have kiddos their Saturday story times are a must. It’s interactive and somehow manages to keep a room full of easily distracted kids (and adults) engaged. I happened to visit when the SNAP program was on pause and they had a pay what you can policy which goes above and beyond in community support. Not to mention that their pastries are fire and the coffee drinks hit the spot every time. Also a great place to grab a brew (beer or coffee) with a friend and catch up. I highly recommend and if I lived in Seattle I would absolutely be a regular.
