Gainsbourg

Went on Father's day, food was phenomenal, as was the service, atmosphere. Pricing was reasonable (that really sounds like a dig these days but its not) and with the selection on the menu, it requires we go back. The Gainsberger (sic) medium rare (they grind the beef and lamb) on site with added egg was feankly one of the best burgers I can remember, enough to write this review. The fries with gravy, not gonna embarrass myself with trying to spell the French word, was a great appetizer. Friendly and available staff, cozy and intimate, but not suffocating. This is a great spot to try and is a great place to dine in Seattle.

The happy hour is so good!! Loved the vibe here, and the food and drinks were tasty. We tried most of the happy hour apps, but only managed to get a picture of the burg because of how fast we devoured them.

I was sad this place didn’t work out for us. The place was only about 1/3rd full at 5pm when we arrived. We got a table immediately. I ordered my burger medium-rare but it come out dry and closer to well. The fries were close to burned and left a bad taste in our mouths. It’s a shame because the baguette was perfect and the happy hour deals are great! We wanted to like it but I don’t think we can come back. Service was slow, and we didn’t get our entrees for 45 minutes (after arrival). We were there for 1 1/2 hours and we had to chase them down to get them to take our credit card.
