Greenwood Art Collective

Greenwood Art Collective is a magical space with a ridiculous amount of local, passionate artists. The collective throws some of the best Art Walks in Seattle — held on the second Friday of each month. Some past events include: a Jim Henson inspired show, Hot Rat Summer, and even a live screen printing!!

Entering the Greenwood Art Collective for the first time was like stepping into a portal - it is an eclectic, highly energized, whimsical, shared space for artists and art lovers, poured into by the community itself. I attended the free tour organized by @ShowYourArtPNW (Instagram) to learn how to apply to be a guest artist and get a full introduction to the collective and the galleries. It was a magical experience from start to finish and I will definitely be returning each month! Support local artists!

Greenwood Art Walk is relatively small compared to other walks in Seattle but there's artists putting themselves out there and def worth checking out! Plus Greenwood is a cool vibe community with lots of bars and restaurants so do it!
