Phinney Books

I’ve been in multiple times and keep hoping that the experience will be better. I have never been greeted, the woman at the front seems annoyed at simple questions. I have never been thanked for coming in. I feel incredibly unwelcome here and I won’t be back.

Such a great community bookstore! Tom and his team help with book fairs and literacy events for our local elementary school (they even dropped books off for us!) There have been multiple books I've wanted to pre-order, which is as easy as sending an email. That's so helpful for a mom of 2 who dreads phone calls. They even set aside an exclusive "indie bookstore day" book for a friend of mine when she couldn't make it in on the day of.

Love this bookstore! Super friendly staff, and an amazing selection. If you’re looking for something, ask! They might have it in the back (happened for me), and the staff are so willing to give recommendations and chat about books.
