★ 4.2Amazing atmosphere, romantic but also approachable. Really liked all the dishes we had, but nothing really stood out. Loved the glass of wine that the bartender recommended.
Tried this place out for date night! It was solid minus a few things. Food was good! I'd go back to try more. The bread apps like the anchovies with cultured butter and burrata were delish. The host was great and service was good up until the end where they forgot one side dish we ordered (we ended up not asking for it since we were full) but waiter did forget to put it in. Then toward the end of our time there, they just stopped checking in on the tables that were outside. One customer got up and flagged someone down for their check. It took a while and we wanted just one more drink and dessert! Decided not too since we felt like they wanted people to go, but I feel like if they had come out sooner we def would of been done and out before close. The vibe is cute and very date night, I liked it! It's walk in only which I think is smart since it's such a small place, so just be prepared to wait if you come on a weekend evening. Still would go back and try it again.
If you’re looking for a dining experience—not just a quick meal—Lioness Restaurant absolutely delivers. The ambiance is everything you want in a night out in the Seattle: moody, intimate, and effortlessly cool. It feels like a speakeasy tucked away in the city, but with a warm Italian township influence that makes the space feel both elevated and inviting. The cocktails are exceptional—thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and honestly hard to stop at just one. And the food? Creative, intentional, and executed beautifully. Every dish felt unique and perfectly done, the kind of menu where you can tell real care went into each detail. I’ve seen some comments about service being slow, but I think that completely misses the point. This isn’t meant to be a rushed, in-and-out experience. It’s designed for you to slow down, connect, and enjoy your time. Order another cocktail, settle in, and let the evening unfold. In many parts of the world, a two-hour dinner is the norm—and this place embraces that rhythm. Same goes for portion sizes. This isn’t an American-style restaurant with oversized plates—it’s about quality, creativity, and experience over quantity. If you go in with the right mindset, Lioness isn’t just dinner—it’s one of those nights you actually remember.
