A go to place for satisfying healthy food, welcoming staff and ambience. Spotlessly clean. Street parking was easy to find. Mercedes and Israel were super attentive and brought our food out quickly. Hoa, the owner was in the restaurant and clearly takes pride in the establishment. We went for brunch and loved the food. I can vouch for the Western eggs Benedict with very fresh fruit, while the others had and loved the Meat Benedict and Biscuit Gravy. We'll go back again and try the Scrables and other items on the menu.

If you're looking for a great breakfast spot with excellent food and friendly service, Pete's Eggnest is definitely worth a visit. The omelets are generously sized and come with great sides, and the Swedish pancakes are absolutely delicious. We tried denver and Greek omelets and both were yummy. We visited around 11:30 am on a Saturday and waited about 15-20 minutes for a table, which felt reasonable given how busy it was. The pictures were taken halfway through the meal because everything looked so good that we couldn't wait to dig in! 😂 Highly recommended for a satisfying breakfast.

This was my second time to Pete's Eggnest recently. The food was pretty good, and it server was friendly. I had the Mexican breakfast to which I added onions and asked for a side of pico de gallo. The meal was tasty and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. However when we got our bill, I was a bit surprised at the up charges. The Mexican breakfast was rung up at $18.25 instead of the $16 on the menu. The very small pico de gallo side was $2.75. I understand an add-on charge for these items, but $2.25 for adding onions to a scramble and $2.75 for pico de gallo I feel is outrageous. There was also no mention about a fee for either the onions or pico when ordering them. The onions weren't listed as a line item so it just looked like I was overcharged. I asked our server about it before paying, and she confirmed what the charges were for and apologized. This crazy charge of $5 for onions and pico are unfortunately enough to make me not want to come back to Pete's Eggnest again. :(
