Tiny little place with chill galore with its super friendly employees and inviting atmosphere. Ultra green and healthy from the ingredients to the cups and such, this place has all the hallmarks of the new-age West coast vibe - sixteen different choices if milk, matcha, espresso and everything else you could wish for - but none of the pretentiousness. Houses on a super quiet and chill block on greenwood. Come check it out you'll dig it.

This place is a hidden gem for matcha lovers. You can truly taste how authentic and high quality the matcha is rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. Everything feels thoughtfully made, from the drinks to the atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about what they’re serving. If you’re looking for real, authentic matcha, this place is a must-visit. Atulea has been my favorite matcha spot for a long time. I literally come here for matcha almost every day of the week, and I’ve never left disappointed—until today (06/12). I placed my order about 20 minutes in advance and came in to pick it up. When I asked about my order, the employee working today immediately responded with an attitude, saying, “It will be a moment since I just opened.” I wasn’t rushing anyone and was patiently waiting, so I was surprised by the response. I continued waiting for another 15 minutes, and when my drink was finally ready, it was simply placed on the counter without my name being called or any acknowledgment. There wasn’t even a simple “thank you,” which is something I’ve always appreciated from Atulea’s staff in the past. What made the experience even more disappointing was feeling like I was treated differently from other customers who were there. I’ve always loved supporting this business, but today’s interaction completely changed my impression of the customer service. It’s sad to say goodbye to what used to be my favorite matcha spot, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back.

Nice little shop with delicious drinks. They'll custom make a drink too. We tried green tea hot chocolate (yum!) and iced Earl Grey milk tea, half sweet. Wish they had better parking (street only).
