Loved the food. The taco style is so different here, it's cooked with spices even in the tacos itself! We loved the salsa bar too!!

Stopped by Abuelita’s Kitchen in Greenwood today with my daughter — we wanted handmade tortilla tacos. We got shrimp, chicken, carne asada, and birria and loved everything. My favorites were the shrimp and carne asada. The tacos are big — like one is basically two. The salsa bar is really good with a good variety of extremely spicy to no spice, and the tortillas and toppings taste fresh! Also got arroz and frijoles and honestly… best I’ve had at a restaurant. It tastes like it came from your mom’s, your tia’s, or your grandma’s kitchen. Definitely recommend. Great locally family owned restaurant with the best Mexican hospitality and comfort you are looking for! We’ll be back again!

Highly recommend the pupusas plate! Their salsa bar had a lot of options and was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back to try more dishes!
